New lay!

Finally finished the new blog layout. Took me about 2 - 3 hours to finish it. It would have taken me longer if I hadn't used the base template on the origional layout I had up. The color scheme is only aqua and white (thats my favourite color combo ^^), but it looks exceptionally nice. The kitty outline took me an hour to finish. It would have been sooner except I was using MS Paint. This was my first time pixalizing a layout (does it look good?). I thought the moon and the stars would make a nice detail addition.

A cat, some stars and a moon. Wouldn't that make a beautiful children story?

The layout was inspired by my very own cat, Davinci, who died on January 9th 2008. He had liver cancer D: and died at the age of 2. Maybe I can get a good picture of him to post on here, but it might take a while since I would have to transfer my pics from my cell phone to my computer and what not.

Oh! And I can also post the billions of cloud pictures I took with my camera

Clouds are my favourite things to take pictures of. They are just so fluffy^^ And they come in millions of different shapes.

So today I found out that we are going to a fair tomorrow. I hope it'll be fun and worthwhile. I am not sure if I am taking any of my friends with me, I probably won't since it's too short of a notice.

Maybe there will be cotton candy. -dreams-

Yum.... now i really can't wait to go to the fair tomorrow. =D

I was thinking about everything that happened last year in middle school. Mostly in band class, which was so much fun. I had probably the two best music teachers in the world. Although we came in 4th place in the Hershey Park tournament. Ahh... but it was alright.

I was surprised that we weren't yelled. It usually doesn't take much to make my teachers angry. But they are really fun and act like kids sometimes.

So anyways, about those middle school memories.... I really don't know how these nicknames came up, but it was all in band class.

I remember Julie was the first one to get a nickname and then Syd. Anyways, Syd was the chicken, Julie was the baboon, Sarah was the cow and I was the millipede. D:

Yes a millipede. I wasn't even an animal.

Yeah, but Julie got her nickname because she plays the bassoon in band class and while my teacher was directing he accidentally called her a baboon and so the name stuck. (Get it, bassoon and baboon?)

I really can't remember how Syd got her nickname, but I'll try and see if it comes back to me while I am typing this up. This all happened in Resource, whilst I wasn't there. I think I was making up a science test I missed, but Julie told me what happened later on.

So Syd and Julie come down from Spectrum and they went to talk with our music teachers. Yeah and then Julie says something funny about Syd and Syd runs away somewhere. Then our music teacher was like "Puck, puck, chicken, puck, puck" and thats how Syd got her nickname.

You kinda had to be there to get it. I don't even think anyone can understand what I am typing right now xD

Um.... can't remember how Sarah was nickknamed cow. I think it just came up one day. And then Syd, Julie and Sarah came up with the nickname millipede in P.E. We were running around in circles in the gym while that happened xP

So after a while the nicknames kind of stuck and then Solo Ensemble came up. So Sarah, Julie, Syd and me became a quartet. We played this really old piece. xD But anyways, we got a gold medal for our performance in Solo Ensemble. So in band our teachers were going over the schedule of what peices we are going to play for our concert when they announced (oh so suddenly) that 2 ensembles that played in Solo Ensemble are going to be playing in the concert.

They picked my quartet groupie =D

Yeah, and then everyone started calling us the Animal Quartet. Although technically I am an insect, but who's going to notice?
