The average neopian day =D

I didn't do much today except neopets. I was on the AC skimming the boards to see if I could get lent an avatar pet. But no one wanted to lend me -sniffles- so I tried my luck with the pound surfing. Sometimes I come across a good pet a two and I trade them for a painted kougra of some sort. Anyways, I came across a pink pet =D (what luck!) and I actually adopted him. It was such surprise too. I usually miss all the good pets in the pound.

About 2 minutes after I get a neomail saying that I interrupted a lend. They wanted the pink pet back, but being the heart-warming person that I am, I said no. I got the pet fairly and there is no reason whatsoever that I should give him back to the previous owner. The person begged, but I kept declining until she offered to trade one of her pets for the pink pet back. I said only if you can somehow manage to get a custom painted kougra then I'll trade. She agreed to that and told me all the colors she could buy. But none of them were appealing and I had already gotten an offer of a pink kougra onto the pet. I told her no, and then some the people she was lending to said they would trade get a painted kougra for me if I would give the pet back. I said fine, but only for a Desert PB. The person agreed to it.

While I was talking with that person, the previous owner neomails me saying that the pet means a lot to her and all that talk xP

The person that made me an offer of a Desert Kougra soon declined saying the previous owner is going to quit neopets. D: How sad. I found it pretty funny actually. But hey, I am still keeping the pet. The pound is a fair game, so the pet is rightfully mine. =)

Let me quote all the neomails for you guys, it'll be easier to under stand =D

First neomail: "I was trying to transfer Jaymes to someone, but they didn't get her fast enough. Can you please pound again at a certain time? Thanks."

My reply: "Sorry, but I am keeping the pet."

1st neomailer's reply: "Do you need proof or anything? Please, I understand that you would like her, but do you want another one of my pets? Any of my other pets? Can you maybe get the avatar and then give her back? Please?"

My reply: "I won't trade Jaymes unless you have a painted kougra. Which is exactly what I am planning to do with Jaymes once I get the avatar. Sorry, but Jaymes is my pet now."

1st neomailer's reply: "I will paint a kougra for you! Please don't trade her."

My reply: "Hmm... alright. Although I got an offer from someone that is willing to trade Jaymes for a pink pet. Can you beat that?"

1st neomailer's reply: "Would you like a starry, split, speckled, christmas, or glowing kougra? that's all i have enough for. I also have a bunch of avi items i could lend to you. Please?"

My reply: "I am sorry but none of those offers beat a custom pink pet that I got offered for. Unless you have a better offer, I won't be trading Jaymes to you."

1st neomailer's reply: "How about my Koi? Or Island tuskaninny? Please?"

My reply: "No. I am sorry. But I'll compromise with you. If you can offer me a custom desert pet then I will trade Jaymes to you. If not then I'll just accept the offer of a custom pink pet."

1st neomailer's reply: "I only have 200k. I guess I can't. =( Thanks for trying to compromise though. Please make sure that you're giving Jaymes to a good owner though. That's all I ask."

My reply: "I can promise you that. I am not that heartless. I just want you to learn a lesson about what can happen to pets in the pound. If you really cared for him, you'd have used the transfer option."

1st neomailer's reply: "I did care for HER. And I wanted to lend people, but nobody, not even I, had transfer. Thanks for the "lesson.""

My reply: "You're welcome. This is life and you've just got to learn how to bounce back."

1st neomailer's reply: "Whatever. This is why most people can't trust any other people in neopia."

My reply: "No. This is why people should understand that when you pound a pet, you are risking losing it."

And she didn't reply back.

2nd neomail: "Hello, we were doing a chain pound with your new Pink tuskanninny and we woudl really appreciate it if the owner, flowerdaisy329 could have her back."

My reply: "I already told flowerdaisy that I will be keeping the pet. Sorry."

2nd neomailer's reply: "Princeaqua.
If I may address you as that.
I don't think you understand.
"It's not your fault. I'm just really mad because she won't give me Jaymes back. He was my favorite pet, I'm even offering her any of my other pets. I'm sorry you didn't get to get the avatar.
-Flowerdaisy wrote that. Wouldn't you be upset if your prized neopet went intot he pound and somebody got him? "

My reply: "Sorry, but no."

3rd neomail: "Look, I know you already told my friend you werent going to give Jaymes2203 back, but pleaseee pleaseee do. Lilly was transfering him to me for the avvie. Do you want proof? We can provide screenies. I know the pound is a fair game, but its going to be all my fault if I cant get Jaymes back."

My reply: "Sorry, but no."

3rd neomailer's reply: "Hey. Do you have the Quadrupus avatar?"

My reply: "No"

3rd neomailer's reply: "Would you like the Quadrupus avatar?"

My reply: "Yes. But I know what you are going to say, and it's going to be a no. I am not going to trade Jaymes for your quad. Instead I am planning to trade him for a painted kougra I don't have."

3rd neomailer's reply: "Darn. Haha.
Well, what painted kougra do you need?"

My reply: "A desert kougra. But I have another offer of a pink kougra on Jaymes. So if I don't get any better offers thean a pink kougra I'll be trading Jaymes."

3rd neomailer's reply: "Kay. Can you hold the offer on Jaymes for a week, at the most for me please? I need to find a Desert PB. xD"

My reply: "Alright. If you do get the desert pb, I'll trade. Please understand that I've made a kougra aleady waiting to be painted desert, so you'll have to send the paintbrush over to me instead. And hopefully you have all understood that pound lending is scary, so I'll transfer, in September, Jaymes to the previous owner."

3rd neomailer's reply: "Okay.
Pound isnt scary."

My reply: "Alright. Then it's a deal."

3rd neomailer's reply: "Nevermind.
Shes quitting Neopets.
Deals off."

So, I trot off and go check up the previous owner's lookup here is what it said: "QUITTING NEO! WHY? BECAUSE ALTHOUGH THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE WHO CAN BE TRUSTED, THERE'S SOME WHO THINK THAT THEY GIVE LESSONS, WHEN THE ONLY LESSON THEY GIVE IS THAT NOBODY IN NEOPIA SHOULD BE TRUSTED. THANK YOU AQUA!"

That made me ROFL xD So I neomail her saying this:

This was just such an amazing experience I just HAD to put it on my blog. Made me laugh a lot. People on neopets need to understand that if they love a pet so much they wouldn't be heart-less enough to pound it even if it can get you an avatar.

So, anyways, I shall be enjoying my new avatar ^^
