The lovely art of anime

I was re-reading yesterday's post. Somethings in the post were exaggerated; not too much, but a little. Ehh.. I have a teen mind and am doing what teenagers do best: exaggerate. It's funny how something happens and your mind takes it another way. Or your mind is so fixed on the way you want to believe something has happened that it changes your view points and the way you encounter the 'happening'. I am not going to change anything from my previous post since it truely is what I think. =3

So, I am making my 100th attempt to draw anime, which I completely fail at. D:

I just can't draw the face or the eyes. I don't understand how people can make such beautiful anime pictures. They just take my breath away when I look at them. I've tried almost every guide there is on deviantart, but I still can't get it. I am so used to the whole idea of 'practice makes perfect' that I thought after drawing things over again and again you would get the hang of it. I was wrong. Drawing comes from the heart and mind, not from practice.

I have no imagination at all, so I fail at drawing or coming up with ideas. I love art. It's a way to express yourself, but I really can't find a way to express myself. It's quite sad.


I had this wonderful character design for my neopet, Storm (if you want to look me up on neopets my username is princeaqua). I got the idea from reading the manga, Loveless. I want Storm to look like the character Seimei Ayoagi. Seimei just has that mysterious kind of feeling and he isn't afraid to make mistakes. Loveless is beautifully drawn and has a spectacular plot. Hopefully I can master Seimei's look and personality for Storm (and then I will have to learn how to color on photoshop... ick xP).

Loveless is an interesting manga. Seimei seems to be the bad guy in the story to me xP

Poor Storm, relinquished after a bad guy. He'll blow a fuse, even though he is an imaginary pixel. I just want to finish Storm's petpage and make it colorful. Maybe even try to enter him into the beauty contest, although that'll take a while. Akal already won top in species and overall (two beautiful trophies in his cabinet!).

So... back to Loveless (sorry, I can get off topic sometimes), anyways Seimei is my favourite character from the manga. He's just so calm and content and he has that kind of evil look in his eyes. Beware Ritsuka!!! xP I can't wait for Loveless #8 to come out. I want to know if Ritsuka will ever get to meet his brother (thats Seimei by the way).

So anyways, back to Storm's character layout. Storm will have electric blue eyes and a darker hair color then Seimei in the picture. I am looking for dark blue maybe? I'll figure out the color scheme once I figure out how to work Photoshop.

I was talking with one of my other friends yesterday. We don't have any classes together this year D: It's not a shocker because half the classes I took were different then hers. Plus we never had any classes together even when we were in middle school except for 1 year in gym xD The classes I took this year are Pre AP Geography, Pre AP Language Arts, Honors Biology, Algebra 2 Trignometry, Band, and French 2. With such a heap load of classes I am thinking twice about joining the Freshman basketball team this year. Don't think I will since I have an odd feeling that we'll have a super load of homework. D:

-sigh- I am going to miss my freedom years. Now it's all going to be about work, work, work, keeping a 4.0 GPA, and even more work. I will, infact, join the tennis team in Spring. I can't wait -hypervalates-
