Hey, just a quick heads up. I am going to be switching from blogger to tumblr. It'll take a while to transfer all the posts, but it'll be worth it. Sorry for the inconvienience. My new blog will probably be up and running by the end of this week, hopefully even sooner.

a promise for daily updates

I officially fail at daily updating. --;

No surprise, since I have an overload of homework this semester. Plus I have to choose my classes next year.

It was an interesting week at school. As I am sure you all know that Valentines Day was yesterday. So, my school decided to do this special. They were selling singing Valentines. Basically all it is, is that the chorus come and sing a 'love' song to the person you tell them too. I personally think that's very embarrasing and I'd kill the person who would send me one.

A girl in my health class got 2 Singing Valentines and the chorus surrounded her in class and sang to her. She was beet red when they finished.

I got all my friends some milk chocolate hearts. I bought two bags of them, since I knew I'd finish one bag by myself. Yeah, I am a chocolate addict xP

Anyways, I spent about 2 hours trying to find a good layout. None of the layouts I found are compatible with the new blogger. If I don't find one soon, I am thinking of making one. Although, my graphics skills are horrible.

Tennis this week was a living nightmare. I was put with the boys group. I really don't mind, since I don't interact with the other girls anyways. I kept missing all my volleys & overheads. I drove me insane. It's not because of the boys at all. I don't care much about them and I think they feel the same way towards me. But, we were playing doubles, and lucky for me I wasn't serving. I was up at the net volleying. Volleying isn't something I am amzing at or horribly bad at, but on Friday I think I definately passed the 'pathetic' line. On a better note, I didn't miss a single of my serves =) & I am getting better at my forehands, which right now is my weakest point. My backhands are probably my second best shot.

I went the girls tennis team's interest meeting on Wednesday. Forgot my cell phone at home, so I ended up sitting in the rain hoping that my parents would remember to pick me up. They did =)

The gorl's coach seems alright. I really don't have a say on whether to like him or not, since I was only in the same room with him for about 15 minutes.

I have a private tennis lesson in about an hour... + I have to finish all my homework + no school tomorrow!!!!!!! =)

twilight rant

Hey, so I just watched Twilight, The Day the Earth Stood Still,and Marley & Me. The last two were good movies, not so sure about Twilight though.

Twilight Overview:
So, I write this in my own opinion. Hate me if you want, see if I care. xD

The book: The book was some what good. The beginning was kind of boring, but I loved the details. I am defineatly not going to read the next book in the series. I find the plot continuously boring. I am not the type of person who is into romantic comedies. If you can call Twilight a comedy. The whole personality of Edward ticks me off. I can't see how Bella even stands Edward. If I was her, I would have ignored him from the beginning. Edward's moods change waaaayyyy too much in the book.

Example(s):

"What if I am not the hero? What if I am the bad guy?"

"You really shouldn't be around me."

"I love you Bella."

"If you were smart you would stay away from me."

"I feel very protective of you."

Geez, make up your mind. You either like her or you don't. In Edward's case, he does have the right to be afraid of falling in love with Bella, but he should atleast give it a chance. If he really loves her, he would try to be with her forever, not push her away. I mean, yes he is pushing her away because he is afraid he might hurt her, but if she is willing to take the risk, so should he.
Overall, it was an okay book. But not one that I would like to read again.

Twilight movie: The movie sucked. The scenes were too fast so the feel of romance was not there. Kristen Stewart has a blinking problem, I am serious. They skipped some parts in the movie that would have made it better if they were in there. They should have stuck to the story line in the book. The acting could have been better.Really, Bella and Edward didn't even seem in love. And the special effects weren't so good. It wasn't like something I expected. I ahd wanted it more action packed and funny, it wasn't. Hopefully New Moon will be better.

The New Year

Hey! So this is my very first post in the new year. Yeah... I should have posted earlier, but going back to school takes up a lot of your time. Anyways, I am typing on my new Hp Compaq Presario laptop =D

It's prettyyyyyy.........

I am head over heels for this laptop. I got it on the 9th actually. Which is a bit of a coincidence since my cat, Davinci, died last year on the same day. So, I named my server 'Davinci'. I LOVE the keyboard. It's so easy to use and manuver.

This week is the beginning of midterms. I have Band and History first on Firday. We get to leave school at 1:30 in midterm week. Then I have a 4 day weekend (whooo!!!!) and then I have midterms in the rest of my classes. I am studying so hard this week. I do have an advantage though and it's that I started studying for midterms at the beginning of Winter Break. So, I've reviewed almost all of my classes.

My New Years resolution this year is to learn how to play the guitar.

I FINALLY fixed my guitar. I broke the E string and I didn't fix it until a year later xD

My first song that I am going to attempt on the guitar is Never Too Late by Three Days Grace. I am a beginner so I have no idea what I am doing. But, I am learning...... slowly xD

I also start my first tennis lessons this week. -yay-

I am excited for my first lesson. Then I have private lessons on Saturday =) I also decided to join the Key Club in my school. It basically volunteer work. Which I think is so fun to do. I love helping people and knowing that there are people out there that need my help. It makes me feel like I am needed in the world. That the reason I am still alive is all because I can help others.

Also, here is this wonderful song called "I Don't Care" By Apocalyptica featuring Adam Gontier (whhhoooo!!!) It's amazing and Adam's voice is so pure. I love it. Enjoy =)

I just woke up. How great. Actually I am waiting for my new laptopy to come =D Totally psyched about it. It's the new Compaq Presario from HP. I just got it for it's great looks. I mean seriously, that model is gorgeous. It's supposed to come today... I am waiting for it. The FedEx guy is taking forever to come - -; I need to copy all the files on my desktop computer and have them ready for transferring. So then my lappy will be ready to use =D

IDK why, but suddenly since break has started I have been more addicted to neopets. Boredom effect, maybe? Actually, I think it's because of the Advent Calendar xD Yeah, the Advent provides something to do, even if it is for about 2 minutes. I just like watching the little cartoons. Then I usually go on the AC orl urk at some other boards. AC is usually first though. But now, I realize that neopets is getting a tad bit boring. There really isn't much to do unless you count the stock market, restocking, scamming, spamming and all the other wonderful things that go on. I think I am going to hold back on neopets until the summer, then start a roleplaying guild. That way, I won't get scolded for being on neoepts too long and in the summer no one will be at home to check on me. xD No... neopets is more fun in the summer actually.

I've been basically studying a lot. Actually, last week I didn't even touch my books, but this week I started reviewing for midterms. Which are at the end of January. Fun stuff. I went over to a friends house last week, and she came over the next day to my house. Yeah, I helped her baby sit this 8 year old and we watched Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas. It was good and funny. I really love Disney movies, they're amazing. You know, Disney based Sinbad on The Book of One Thousand and One Nights. Now I really want to read that book. I'll have to check if Amazon has it in stock. And then we watched National Treasure: Book of Secrets. I haven't watched National Treasure at all. That was my first time and I started with the sequel to the movie - -; I plan to watch the first movie later in break. Then when she came oveer to my house we played batmiton and then we watched 43 minutes of Grudge and The Dark Knight. It was pretty fun =)

Oh! And Soggy is coming over tomorrow for New Years! My lap top came! BRB.......

...... it wasn't my laptop - -; It was the laptop's insurance thing. Ewww... I think I must have misread when it was going to come.

Speaking of Amazon, I was cruising their supply of cameras and found one that I fell in love with. It's absolutely beautiful. If I could, I'd marry it. It's the Sony Cybershot DSC T2 Digital Camera. And did I mention it's blue? I mean, the shade of blue that you can't help but melt into.

It's beautiful, right? =D

It costs $230 on Amazon. I am gonna save up =) Soon, it shall be mine. My parents fail at buying an actual good camera. They always buy the kinds that break after the first photo you take. And then they are too lazy to go and return it to get their money back.

So, I haven't talked to any of my friends this break, well except for Soggy. =D I just don't want to disturb them over break. you know, family tie is very little now a days and I'd feel guilty if I called them. I'll get a fully report anyways when we go back to school.

Wow... it's been a while since I've posted. Nothing much has gone on.
I had some tennis lesson stuff yesterday. My mom put me in the TTP program thing and to tell you the truth I have no idea what the TTP. I think it has something to do with tournaments. But yeah, the couch that was checking me out if I can play or not decided that I should start in the level lower than TTP first and then after 2 or 3 weeks of private lessons I can join TTP. =)
Thats cool with me since I haven't touched a tennis racket for about a year or so now. xD

H.I.M.

So, today I was looking around neopets. Since it's winter break, I was super bored. But yeah, and anyways I got even more bored so I went on youtube. I listened to Paramore (Decode) and some more of Three Days Grace.
I don't know how I came across H.I.M. (His Infernal Majesty) but somehow I did. I've heard of the band before, I really never took an interest though after I listened to one of their songs. I can't remember which one it was, but H.I.M. is a huge hit in my school. Anyways, the song I listened to wasn't very good. So, I've ignored H.I.M. for a while.
But somehow I came across one of their songs today, Join Me in Death.
It's good, not as good as Three Days Grace, but it's good.
It has that icy cold touch to it that sends shivers throughout your body.
The music video sort of reminds me of 30 Seconds to Mars - A Beautiful Lie's music video. I love how everything is so cold and pale white. It's the kind of surroundings I would love. =)



Future Love

This is another new song that I like. It's called Future Love by Varsity Fanclub. I like the dancing in the music video, it's sort of retro style =)
Yeah, I heard this song on The-N. Hopefully when my iTunes is back up I can download all the new songs I like.





X-MAS
So, I almost forgot that Christmas is going to be here in about 2 days =) -excitement-
I am not sure what I'll get, since I never told my parents what I wanted.
Truly, I don't even want anything this year. Nothing is very eye catching.
Through out this whole year, I've realized how lucky I am to have such great parents who love and care for me and how fortunate I am than others.
Almost half my friends have parents who have divorced and are going to get divorced soon again.
Everything that has happened this year has brought to my attention that love takes courage and patience to find.
I am in no hurry what so ever to find someone or have a boyfriend. I like my life, and I want it to remain the way it is atleast for now.

I'll probably make another post tomorrow out of boredom, but

I forgot to mention that seahorse gave me the necklace back =)
AND he commented on my hair today.
I didn't do anything special with it though....
I just wore it down, thats it.
But yeah, he said "I like your hair"
And like an idiot I replied, "Sorry, but my hair doesn't like you that way..."
Get it? He said that he liked my hair and my hairdoesn't like him?
OKAY.
NVM THEN.
